The Disc Steno CP200 training in Mainland China
This is an experience sharing conducted by our colleagues from the Shanghai branch. We hope everyone can come to enjoy the pleasures of playing, recording and real-time sharing that result from using the Disc Steno CP200.

In order to better understand the functions of the Disc Steno CP200, the AMC staff has followed Alex since November 7, 2003, in an event held to experience using the Disc Steno CP200 - anywhere and any time.

During the allotted time, the AMC staff members have taken a large number of pictures of whatever interested them. They were asked to present their pictures to everyone one day over lunch, using the Disc Steno CP200. Two employees were selected as the winners and each of them received a Handy Steno HT202 as a prize.

Now let us share the AMC staff's experiences with you!
  • Charlie brought us pictures of the beautiful scenery of New Zealand. We saw pictures of glaciers, churches, the ocean, small islands and his mother. Everyone noticed that Charlie only took one picture of his mother. It seemed that everyone cared about his mother more than the scenery of New Zealand.
  • Banks showed us his cute son walking naked out of the bath. We were curious why Banks didn't take any pictures of his daughter over the two compulsory days of picture taking. We came to the baseless conclusion that Banks had sold his daughter to make the money to buy milk powder for his son. Ha Ha!
  • To our surprise, the normally quiet Selina brought us a lot of pictures of cold and hard items ¡V all kinds of pictures of lathes, machines and boilers displayed at an Industry Fair.
  • Benny brought us an avi file, but we had to try very hard to see that the video was of the beach. The lasting impression we had was how "clean" his car window is. Actually, Benny took a lot of pictures that were out of focus and we just saw lots of car window shots ¡X we all thought it was unlikely that he would win.
  • Allen never smokes but he showed us part of his collection of more than 3,000 cigarette boxes. It was pity that, while Allen explained the differences between the twelve 555 cigarette boxes, everyone paid more attention to their lunch boxes. Alex commented that Allen's hobby could join some kind of odd hobby contest.
  • Lynn showed us her pictures of her business trip to Beijing and her honeymoon. We all agreed that she looked like the singer CoCo Lee in her wedding pictures. She also introduced her home in Shanghai to us with detailed pictures and an explanation of each one. It was very clean; Lynn said she took good care of it.
  • Alex brought us pictures of the decoration of a bathroom in a hotel on Hainan Island. It's so weird that when Alex traveled in Hainan, he seems to have spent most of his time staying in his hotel.
  • We are still looking forward to seeing pictures of Karen's son's piano concert and Adrian's secret girlfriend.
We think it is a wonderful thing that we can share our happiness with those around us! This Disc Steno CP200 experience event helped us know more about each other and learn how to manipulate the CP200. We will go on with this event and keep you posted of more experiences.
