Apacer DDR466/500: the only option for over-clocking

Using original and unmodified dies running at true 466/5000MHz

The specialist DRAM module maker and leader Apacer announces the brand new DDR466 and DDR500 DRAM modules for over-clocking users. These modules are the only modules on the market that use original and unmodified dies running at true 466/500MHz. Unlike other modified 466/500 modules, Apacer’s new DDR 466/500 modules can prevent overheating of modules due to over-clocking and ensure more reliable and optimal performance. The new DDR 466/500 will be available in all major computer dealers in the middle of June.
According to Apacer, since both models use original dies running at true 446/500 MHz, they can prevent overheating and offer reliable performance for over-clocking users to transfer a huge amount of data at high speed. It is for this reason that Apacer’s DDR466/500 modules are the only 466/500MHz modules that do not need any heat sink on the die. As there is no heat sink on top of the dies, users can identify the original manufacturer of dies when they purchase Apacer’s DDR466/500 modules. It is a kind of absolute quality assurance - dies that do not need heat sink because they can run at true 466/500MHz.

Both models are 184-pin DDR modules using PCB double-sided components, to that they can offer high performance at a small size. Both models are running at 2.6V, the lowest voltage on the market, to save energy, prevent overheating and ensure product reliability. These modules are also equipped with the auto & self refresh capabilities to ensure smooth operation during accessing a huge amount of data at high speed. Moreover, they have been tested to be compatible with motherboards of most leading makers to ensure the best compatibility. The DDR466/500 ranges offer 256MB and 512MB models to satisfy the demand of different users.
