Leading the world,
Apacer's full-series DDRII memory modules started volume production

Adopting the advanced 0.11 micron particle processing technology and
providing the world most stable and compatible DDRII memory modules

In its Computex new product launching event, Apacer announces that its full-series DDRII memory modules will soon enter the volume production stage in the near future. The company will be the first module supplier in the world that enters into DDRII volume production. Apacer's DDRII memory modules offer a complete product line including the ones used in servers, desktop and notebook PCs, meeting the needs of all types of consumers. The full-series products totally adopt the original factory particles. A stringent test focusing on major brands of motherboards and chipsets, as well as Intel's latest server, has been completed as well. Apacer's full-series of DDRII memory modules are completely in compliance with the JEDEC DDRII standard, they offer the best compatibility and stability.
【Product Feature】
  • 1.8 Volts operation, reducing power consumption by about 50 percent.
  • Memory signal termination inside the memory chip ("On-Die Termination") to prevent reflected signal transmission errors.
  • Operational enhancements to increase memory performance, efficiency and timing margins.
  • CAS Latencies: 3, 4.

Apacer stated that it had long time ago predicted that the light, thin, short and small DRAM particles will become the main stream of today's memory modules. Thus, the company has adopted, before other manufacturers, the 0.11 micron processing technology- BGA particles- and produced into memory modules. With regard to the overall planning of production and test procedure, plus the adding of equipment, the company has already thoroughly prepared. Thus, in facing the DDRII new product age, it is able to lead the world and be the first DDR II module volume production supplier. Meanwhile, the company is also able to offer the most compatible and stable DDRII memory modules, completely satisfies the computer enthusiast and the users who need large volume of data transmission.

Apacer insists on using all original factory particles in all of the latest Apacer full-series high-end DDRII memory modules in order to maintain the quality of the products. Meanwhile, the company adopts the advanced 0.11-micron DDR II particle processing technology, which is in compliance with the JEDEC DDRII standard, to structure the DDRII memory modules. This architecture offers three features: 1. The lowest power consumption. It's working voltage is 1.8 volt, better than the previous generation's 2,5 volt design, thus, the power consumption is largely reduced. 2. Better heat dissipation. The design of low voltage and FBGA packaging, even under the super high-speed operation, is capable of reducing the generation of heat flow and improving the performance of heat dissipation. 3. Excellent transmission speed. Comparing with the traditional TSOP packaging, by adopting the FBGA packaging technology, the inner layer circuit is able to offer much higher speed that the highest data processing rate can reach 533MHz.

Apacer DDRII memory module provides high speed of data transmission with the rate up to 4.3GB per second. If under the dual-channel architecture, the relative transmission rate can even be as high as 8.4GB per second. For those users who are after the speed and stability, Apacer’s DDRII memory modules are certainly capable of offering the quality assurance of absolute high performance, high speed and high stability.
