Apacer’s Disc Steno CP300 Portable Photo DVD Burner, Image Viewer and Media Player is an Easy-to-use, Multifunction Device

Backup data and photos from memory cards, view photos on a TV or the built-in TFT-LCD color display, print photos directly to a printer, the battery powered Disc Steno CP300 does it all anywhere, without the need for a PC

Apacer Technology Inc., an innovator of digital storage applications, has just released its new Disc Steno CP300 DVD storage and multimedia device. The CP300 combines the functionality of a DVD/CD burner, a portable storage device with built-in 7-in-1 card reader, a USB 2.0 high speed external card reader, and a go anywhere media player for viewing photo slideshows and movies. Completely functional without the need for a PC, the CP300 offers a high quality color TFT-LCD, IR remote control, rechargeable lithium battery and the ability to output photos directly to a printer.

Easy to Use, Share and Store Your Digital Memories

The Disc Steno CP300’s ease of use and flexibility is designed for today’s digital lifestyle. It is the perfect solution for the digital photographer on the go, offering scalable 4.7GB of storage that allows them to dump and review their memory card contents quickly and safely in the field, eliminating the need to buy multiple memory cards. It is also great for families while on vacation or at home. Back up the day’s photos or view a slideshow of the photos on the TV, all without ever touching a PC. With the versatile card reader, the CP300 allows users to view and display photos directly from the card on the TFT-LCD color display, then burn the photos they want to a DVD.

Fun at Home or On the Go

The Disc Steno CP300 expands on the “Digital Home” concept by offering an appliance-like device that does not need a PC to operate. View photos on a TV or in the clear TFT-LCD color display or connect to a PictBridge compatible photo printer for direct printing without a PC. The card reader supports all popular types of flash memory cards (CF type I and II/MS/MSPro/MMC/SD/SM). The TFT-LCD display allows users to view photo transfers and menu icons as well as check the burn process. Also offered is a slide show viewer, a rotate function and thumbnail viewer that can be controlled by the remote. The thumbnail viewer makes it quick and easy to view and select images to display. The rechargeable Li-on battery provides over 2 hours of continuous use, more than enough to copy at least twenty 512MB flash cards to DVD.

According to Apacer’s Product Director, Elton Fang, “the CP-300 utilizes the most up-to-date hardware and software technology, which makes the CP300 an extremely fun and easy to use device that is portable, has great functionality and does not require a PC to use. With the ability to use as many 4.7GB DVDs as they need, users have unlimited storage space to backup any type of file, easily store and view photos or directly print photos to share their memories with family and friends, anytime, anywhere.”
