Apacer’s Industrial and Photo Steno Series of CompactFlash cards fully meet the European Union Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. Apacer has always taken an active role in protecting the environment and works closely with industry partners that share the company's commitment to the environment. The RoHS directive restricts the use of lead (Pb), mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and two bromine-containing flame retardants: PBB (polybrominated biphenyls) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) in electrical and electronic products. Legislated in the European Union and Japan to eliminate lead pollution and other contaminants in air and water waste that damage the environment, Apacer gives customers the confidence they are using products that are safer for the environment. Along with this RoHS compliance, Apacer thoroughly tests these products to ensure superior compatibility and great performance. All of these efforts make customers feel more comfortable when they use Apacer’s products. |

Apacer's Industrial CompactFlash cards are high performance flash memory data storage that provide embedded devices with new functionality, greater flexibility, as well as smaller and lighter designs. They provide complete PCMCIA - ATA functionality and compatibility. Memory capacity ranges from 32 MB to 4 GB and all use a single power supply of 5 or 3.3 Volts. These cards contribute to greater flexibility in hardware design and memory expansion requirements for embedded applications. There are three types of Apacer Industrial CompactFlash Cards: Standard CFC, Non-Removable CFC and Extended Temperature CFC. For Standard CF cards, Apacer uses strict, industrial-standard testing and is recognized as a market leader. Non-Removable CF cards, which can replace conventional HDDs, have a built-in boot function that allows the card to be the boot drive for a system. Extended Temperature CF cards are tested to work under a wider operating temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) and harsh conditions, typical of industrial and commercial applications. |
