Apacer's Mini SAFD 25M is a SATA SSD that is more rugged, reliable, and power-efficient.  The Mini SAFD 25M, using a standard 7 + 15 pin male connector, is compact in size.  With only half size of current 2.5 inch SAFD, the space-saving and light design of Mini SAFD 25M's makes it especially suitable for use in design-in applications of notebooks, UMPC, and All-in-one PC.

To make the small-sized SAFD 25M also compatible with devices currently using 2.5” hard drives, Apacer additionally adds the aluminum alloy fixed frame, which shares the same pitch as H.D.D.  Mini SAFD 25M supports the SATA I interface (1.5Gb/s).  With read/ write speeds of up to 35MB/s and 25MB/s, Mini SAFD 25M is based on SLC flash memory and comes in capacities from 256MB to 16GB.  Value-added features that guarantee outstanding performance include a built-in BCH ECC engine to ensure data reliability, advanced wear-leveling algorithms that substantially increase the longevity of the flash media.

Mini SAFD 25M has undergone strict qualification to guarantee product dependability, reliability, and longevity, and has a mean time between failures (MTBF) of two million hours.
